From his parents’ living space, a 21-year-old’s side job now nets over $500k a year.

A mere three years ago, a high-schooler named Jason Siu was pushing $3 stickers on social media to collect cash for car parts.

Fast forward to today, and his side gig, Invalid.jp, rakes in upwards of $500,000 annually. It has evolved from stickers to an array of sought-after car gear, including custom lighting and decorative license plates.

Currently a junior at the University of Hawaii, Siu gets these items in bulk, personalizes them, and sells them for a tidy profit. A warehouse has recently become his business hub, a big change from his earlier days working out of his parents’ small apartment.

He estimates a personal earning of around $400,000 since the inception of Invalid.jp, partly thanks to a spike in interest from a TikTok video, which once catapulted sales to $38,000 in a single day.
